Curb Appeal
Start with the outside of your home, better known as your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the exterior of your house from a street perspective. What do you notice first? What unique characteristics seem hidden?
Understanding this assists us in deciding what plan of action we can use to entice buyers from the street and into your house. If your house isn't at its best on the outside with refreshed paint and blooming greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Walking-through your home from a buyer's view, I'll advise you of changes that build up sales appeal.
I'll tell you put out of sight things that give the look of clutter. Tabletops should be free and clear. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Ugly or messy places make your home seem less spacious and buyers have a more difficult time seeing themselves calling your place home.
Every room gets a once-over. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that need polishing, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.
Buyers' agents know that their clients expect a place that charms them. Anything that could be "loud" should be put away so that your place will have impress buyers to buyers.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when your home is ready to show your house, because all of the improvements mesh together to create a picture of what buyers will expect when they consider buying your house. To counteract darkness is important and we'll part the curtains, and create light where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a pleasant scent flows throughout your house. We'll make use of cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your couch and bedding. Buyers should feel like your place is their future home. |
